Exploring ITunesU

I had to really explore ITunesU to get an idea of what this is all about. I went to a few sites that I thought would be interesting to watch and listen with audio but it didn't catch my attention real well. I played the "Great Ideas in Psychology," and "A tale of three superpowers," and did not find them as interesting as I hope they would have been. I then went to the link "Exploring Death and Dying." This is an amazing link! I love American Public Media anyway, but I felt emotions from all the readings. What made it more intriguing was the attractive and passionate music in the background to emphasize important moments in the reading. My favorite episode that I listened to was called "Midwife to the Dying." Everyone please listen to this episode. It can help explain questions that you may have had about death, or the "questions that surround the end of life." One person that was mentioned in this link was Terri Schiavo. I remember her and the case and always wondered about it.
Although this link is about life until death, this particular link would be a great educational resource. I have learned a lot just from this short episode! I learned about questions that people ponder about death and taking care of those that are dying, facing challenges and new emotions, facing the time when you need to create a will, and learning about the moments in life when children start taking care of their family members. This link would be a great resource to listen to when researching topics about rehabilitation, hospice, psychology, human growth and development, history, laws, relationships people create during time of adult death, methods to help cope with suffering, and shared experiences, stories and poems. I would really recommend listening to any episode from this link, but especially "Midwife to the Dying."
